BurcuBurcu is a Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultant (RCIC) with a background in education and leadership. Drawing on that experience and her passion for supporting people as they make Canada home, she founded Northern Pathways Immigration Consulting in Toronto in 2019.

Northern Pathways supports clients across economic immigration programs, family sponsorship, and temporary residence, with a strong focus on economic pathways. Burcu’s approach centres on practical strategy, continuous learning, and thoughtful positioning, no matter where someone is in their professional journey.

Burcu also deeply values her role teaching at Queen’s, where she gets to support learners who are on the path to becoming future RCICs. It’s especially meaningful to her because she can combine her teaching experience with her day-to-day practice as an RCIC, helping students build practical skills, sound judgment, and confidence.

Outside of her consulting and teaching, Burcu is a tech enthusiast who enjoys using technology and social media to improve client experience, streamline operations, and build trust with current and future clients. She believes a modern, efficient approach helps RCICs work more effectively and stay competitive in a changing landscape.
