Laura Boswall is Legal Counsel to the Refugee Protection Division at the Immigration and Refugee Board of Canada. She received her JD from Dalhousie University in 2005. She has held a number of positions with the Board since her call to the bar in 2008: Legal Counsel, Tribunal Officer and Refugee Protection Division Member. She enjoys teaching and mentoring new Members, Legal Counsel, and Adjudicative Claims Officers. She has also practiced in the areas of wills and estates and real estate law. Outside of her legal work, she enjoys travel, cooking, and searching for Toronto’s best donuts.
