Cristie Lane Tayde
Cristie Lane Tayde has a Bachelor’s Degree in Natural Resources Conservation and a Certificate in Immigration: Laws, Policies and Procedures from the University of British Columbia. She became a Regulated Canada Immigration Consultant and joined her family’s consultancy, BC Happy Homes Immigration Services, in 2009. Their business, which was first established by Cristie’s parents in 1992, has since branched out to various locations in the Philippines.
From 2011 to 2015, Cristie stood on the Board of Directors and was appointed as Secretary for the Philippines-Canada Trade Council, a non-profit organization promoting international relations in trade and investment.
Cristie values Canada’s multicultural identity, and dedicates her spare time to several volunteer activities within the community. She was a former Technical and Digital Stage Director for the Philippines Historama Society of BC, and the Asian Heroes Canada Foundation. Cristie has also been invited to participate in outreach programs and workshops at various community centers in Vancouver and Victoria, BC.
Cristie has been an Instructor for Ashton College since 2016, with particular focus on Temporary Residence, Ethics, Economic and Family Class modules in immigration related programs.
