FedoraFedora Mathieu is an experienced lawyer specialized in immigration and refugee law. A law graduate from the University of Montreal, she also completed an LL.M at the University of Ottawa. Fedora has worked as a lawyer in private practice in Montreal and Toronto, representing a variety of clients over the years (foreign workers and students, asylum seekers, etc.). She is currently practising as a bilingual refugee lawyer at the Integrated Legal Services Ottawa of Legal Aid Ontario. Her practice focuses on litigation and appeals of refugee claims, removal order appeals, and various immigration applications for persons without status in Canada. She regularly represents her clients before all levels of the Immigration and Refugee Board of Canada and the Federal Court of Canada. Fedora has been invited to speak at conferences and community events as an expert in refugee matters.
