Dr. Hesam Hassan Nejad is an experienced regulated Canadian Immigration Consultant (RCIC) with close to 10 years of experience in teaching Ethics, Professional Responsibility, and DEI Principles. Dr. Nejad started his RCIC practice in July 2020 and joined the instructor team at Queen’s University in 2021. He has spent most of his teaching experience at Queen’s University and Memorial University of Newfoundland (MUN).
Dr. Nejad has been the recipient of “International Student Leader of the Year” and “International Graduate Student of the Year” at Memorial University of Newfoundland in 2015 and 2016, respectively. His RCIC practice in Kingston has also brought him a nomination in the “Customer Experience” Award Category in the Kingston Business Award 2024, organized by Greater Kingston Chamber of Commerce.
Currently serving at the University of Alberta as an International Student Specialist, his expertise lies in ethics and professional responsibility, temporary residents (specifically study permit and PGWP holders), and family class applicants (in and outside Canada).
