Ivory Xi worked for Legal Aid BC for nearly a decade, where she gained experience in multiple areas of law including immigration law, and translated over twenty legal publications/brochures on various legal topics created by Legal Aid BC. In 2016 she became an RCIC after completing the Immigration Consultant Program at UBC. In addition to providing high-quality immigration services to her clients, Ivory is an active member of the RCIC community, where she frequently shares her strong expertise and valuable insights with her colleagues. Her extensive knowledge of immigration law and willingness to share it has earned her the respect of immigration professionals. She co-founded and later chaired the Association for Chinese RCICs in 2018, a non-profit organization whose mission is to promote professional support among peers as well as ethical, high-quality public services. Ivory served on the GDipICL national advisory committee from 2019 to 2022 before taking on the program’s teaching position. Her family currently resides in Victoria, British Columbia.
