Joo Eun Kim is a refugee lawyer currently practicing at the Refugee Law Office of Legal Aid Ontario. Joo Eun’s practice focuses on litigation and appeals of refugee claims, removal order appeals, and various immigration applications for persons without status in Canada.
Joo Eun graduated from University of Toronto Law School in 2011. As a lawyer, he regularly appears at all divisions of the Immigration and Refugee Board as well as the Federal Court. He also acted as co-counsel for Canadian Association of Refugee Lawyers at the Supreme Court of Canada. He is regularly invited to speak at conferences and community events as an expert in refugee matters.
