Karen Kwan Anderson
Karen earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology, Industrial Relations and Professional Writing from Erindale College of the University of Toronto Mississauga. She graduated from the Faculty of Law at the University of Windsor and was called to the Bar of Ontario in 2001
Understanding the increasingly complex processes and requirements of the immigration process, Karen’s mission is to help clients from diverse backgrounds visit and immigrate to Canada, reunite families in Canada, prevent deportation, ensure fairness in immigration proceedings and fearlessly advocate in the best interests of clients. Karen prepares applications for temporary and permanent residence, defends clients in deportation processes at the Canada Border Services Agency, and litigates at the Immigration and Refugee Board and Federal Court.
Karen is a member of the Coach and Advisor Network of the Law Society of Ontario, a mentor with the Career Centre and the Alumni Association at the University of Toronto Mississauga and a proud sponsor of the American Women’s Club of Southern Ontario.
