Klaudios Mustakas

Klaudios Mustakas is a former senior manager with the Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) and Citizenship & Immigration Canada (CIC).  He has over 40 years of Canadian federal government service, including international diplomatic assignments as a Visa Officer in the United States and the Middle East. He speaks fluent English and Greek.

Klaudios has a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Waterloo and a Business Administration diploma from Wilfrid Laurier University. He has twice been awarded the Governor-General of Canada’s Peace Officer Exemplary Medal for twenty and thirty years of service in the Canadian Government.

He retired as Chief, Enforcement (CBSA) in December 2010. Since retiring from the Canadian Federal Government, he has established Mustakas and Associates Immigration Consulting in Waterloo, Ontario. During the same time he has been the Senior Immigration Advisor and Certified Immigration Consultant for Pace Law Firm in Toronto.

Klaudios works with Queen University Law School teaching the Canadian Immigration Enforcement course to new Immigration practitioners. He is also certified to represent clients before the Immigration Refugee Board specifically in spousal refusal appeals, residency appeals and admissibility hearings.

He is an expert in Canadian immigration and enforcement matters. He has an extensive knowledge of all levels of the federal and Ontario governments, and he has extensive ties with the business and cultural communities in South-Western Ontario. 

He is frequently asked to speak on immigration and citizenship issues. He is well known in his community and many people seek him out for immigration assistance in Canada and abroad.
