Manprit Aujla-Grewal has over 16 years of public and private sector immigration experience.
In 2005, Manprit began her career in immigration with IRCC as a Service Delivery Agent at the Case Processing Center in Vegreville, Alberta. Her time there included an assignment at the local IRCC office in Edmonton, Alberta, as well as a visit to the overseas Visa Office in Chandigarh, India.
She resigned to join the Alberta Immigrant Nominee Program (AINP) in 2006 as a Program Officer. During her time there she was promoted to team lead, and helped in the development of program criteria and different program streams. She also completed a 3 month term with the Ontario Provincial Nominee Program as a Program Officer.
Having gained immigration experience at both provincial and federal levels of government, Manprit saw a unique opportunity to serve clients in private practice with her broad and nuanced understanding of the Canadian Immigration system.
Manprit obtained her license in 2011 and left the AINP to open her own Immigration Consulting firm, Canadian Immigration Connections.
In 2017 she acted as an International Student Advisor with the University of Alberta in the International Office.
In 2020 Manprit was invited to appear before the Standing Committee on Citizenship and Immigration to provide input on pressing immigration and Covid related issues.
Canadian Immigration Connections celebrated its 10 year anniversary in 2021 and continues to grow and serve clients in Edmonton, Alberta, and beyond.
