Manprit Aujla-Grewal has over 18 years of public and private sector immigration experience.
In 2005, Manprit began her career in immigration with IRCC as a Service Delivery Agent at the Case Processing Center in Vegreville, Alberta. Her time there included an assignment at the local IRCC office in Edmonton, Alberta, as well as a visit to the overseas Visa Office in Chandigarh, India.
She resigned to join the Alberta Advantage Immigration Program (AAIP) in 2006 as a Program Officer. During her time there, she was promoted to Team Lead and helped develop program criteria and different program streams. She also completed a 3-month term with the Ontario Provincial Nominee Program as a Program Officer.
Having gained immigration experience at both provincial and federal levels of government, Manprit saw a unique opportunity to serve clients in private practice with her broad and nuanced understanding of the Canadian immigration system.
Manprit obtained her license in 2011 and left the AAIP and started Canadian Immigration Connections.
In 2017, she accepted a part-time role as an International Student Advisor with the University of Alberta. In 2020, Manprit appeared before the Standing Committee on Citizenship and Immigration to provide input on pressing immigration and COVID-related issues.
Manprit previously taught the ICL 830 program in the Winter of 2022 and has recently completed the Certificate in Law from Queen’s University.
