Mila Aberten
Mila Aberten is a licensed Immigration Consultant practicing immigration law in Abbotsford, BC since 2009. Mila immigrated to Canada in 2007 from Ukraine. She has a Bachelor’s degree in Teaching and holds an honours diploma in foreign languages. Mila is fluent in English, Russian, Ukrainian, and she is a beginner in French.
After graduating from the University of British Columbia’s UBC Certificate in Immigration: Laws, Policies and Procedures Program in 2009, Mila joined an established immigration company in Abbotsford, BC. In 2011, she has started her own immigration consulting practice, Immigration Counsels of Canada (ICC). Being a lead consultant at the firm, Mila represents clients before the Immigration Refugees and Citizenship Canada (former CIC) and the Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) in temporary residence (visitors, international students and foreign workers) and permanent residence (economic, family and H&C class) applications.
Mila is a full member of the Immigration Consultant of Canada Regulatory Council (College of Immigration Consultants), former member of the Canadian Association of Professional Immigration Consultants (CAPIC) and Society of Translators and Interpreters of British Columbia (STIBC). In addition to her role as an Immigration Consultant, she acts as a Commissioner of Oaths in and for the province of British Columbia.
