As an educator and immigration professional, Miti Hathi brings a unique perspective to her role as an Adjunct Professor at Queen’s University.
 
She holds a B.Sc. in Psychology and an M.Ed. in Higher Education Leadership from University of Toronto. She also holds a Certificate in Immigration: Laws, Policies, and Procedures from the University of British Columbia. She has been a practicing Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultant since 2017. She owns and operates a consulting firm, Gravitas Immigration Solutions. In her role as an immigration consultant, she has helped her clients navigate the complex Canadian immigration landscape.

In addition to her entrepreneurial work, Miti has served as an International Student Advisor in Canada, where she supported students in adapting to life in a new country and advising on immigration matters. Currently, she is the Assistant Director of Student Success Initiatives at Rice University, where she helps students achieve their academic goals and overcome challenges through holistic advising.

With her diverse background in immigration and education she brings a student-centered approach to the classroom to inspire the next generation of immigration professionals.
