Muhammad Wajahat Faizan is a qualified Barrister and Solicitor with the Law Society of Ontario. He is an experienced legal professional with over 12 years of working experience in three jurisdictions; Canada Pakistan and the United Kingdom. He is also a Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultant (RCIC) and a Commissioner of Oaths and Notary Public in Ontario. Mr. Faizan is also a Professor of Law at various community colleges for more than 8 years.
Mr. Faizan has completed the Juris Doctor (Eq.) through the National Certificate of Qualification from the Federation of Law Societies of Canada in 2018/19. Mr. Faizan holds law degrees issued in the United Kingdom – an honors Bachelor’s degree in Law from the University of London and a Master’s degree in Energy Law and Alternative Dispute Resolution from the esteemed Aberdeen Business School. He is an alumnus of the University of London and Robert Gordon University, Scotland. In 2016, Mr. Faizan also became a Graduate of the distinguished and prestigious Energy institute of the United Kingdom. After migrating to Canada, Mr. Faizan completed a yearlong Post Graduate Certificate in Public Policy & Administrative Law from York University, Toronto.
Mr. Faizan has extensive experience in Canada’s immigration laws, He has represented clients before Canada’s immigration authorities within Canada and at Canadian visa offices globally. He holds competence in IAD Appeals and Humanitarian and Compassionate Cases. To his merit, there is a reported case law: Vilcassim v Canada (Citizenship and Immigration), 2019 CanLII 145827 (CA IRB).
