Paula Barry Mercer, MEd RCIC, has been working in international education and immigration for over 20 years. Paula began her career teaching English as an additional language and providing academic and immigration support to international students. In 2005, she earned her Masters of Education and began working in the post-secondary sector, most recently as the Associate Vice President, Student Experience at Mount Saint Vincent University in Halifax (2015-2021).
In 2013, Paula became an RCIC and in 2014, co-founded Inspired Immigration, an immigration consulting firm focused on the attraction and retention of newcomers to Atlantic Canada. Working with industry partners and post-secondary institutions, the firm provides support to international students, graduates, and their employers. Paula’s practice focuses on assisting clients with economic immigration applications.
