Sayed Fawad HashymiSayed Fawad Hashymi is a Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultant (RCIC) and a member of the College of Immigration and Citizenship Consultants (CICC). Before becoming a Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultant in 2015, Sayed worked for three years as an immigration assistant, gaining valuable hands-on experience that laid the foundation for his immigration practice.

His immigration practice covers a wide range of areas, including temporary resident applications for visitors, students, and workers, as well as permanent residence pathways such as the Federal Skilled Worker Program, Canadian Experience Class, Federal Skilled Trades, Provincial Nominee Programs, and specialized categories like the Self-Employed and Start-Up Visa programs. He also assists with Labour Market Impact Assessments (LMIAs), family class sponsorships, and refugee streams.

In addition to his practice, Sayed has over eight years of teaching experience in immigration law and practice. He taught in the Immigration Practitioner Diploma Program (IPP) at CDI College, where he not only instructed but also developed curriculum and exam preparation courses, supporting hundreds of students in becoming licensed professionals. Since 2022, he has served as an Adjunct Instructor at Queen’s University in the Graduate Diploma in Immigration and Citizenship Law (GDipICL) program, where he teaches ICL 840 Economic Immigration, preparing future immigration consultants with both the theoretical and practical skills to succeed in the profession.

Sayed also teaches practice management courses at the College of Immigration and Citizenship Consultants, contributing to the ongoing professional development of licensed RCICs. His teaching philosophy emphasizes practical application, ethical standards, and client-centered practice, reflecting his dedication to both the advancement of the profession and the success of newcomers to Canada.

Alongside his professional and academic roles, Sayed is actively involved in nonprofit work as part of Maple Bridge Canada, an organization committed to supporting immigrants, refugees, and displaced individuals—particularly Afghan newcomers—in their settlement and integration across Canada.

With a blend of immigration experience, teaching expertise, and community engagement, Sayed continues to play a key role in shaping the next generation of immigration professionals in Canada.
