Tina Gougoushvili (she/her) is in-house counsel at the Immigration and Refugee Board of Canada, where she provides complex legal advice to Board Members. For the last two years, she has volunteered as a judge in the Immigration, Refugee, and Citizenship Law Moot.  

Before her appointment at the Board, Tina worked with marginalized and vulnerable people in a clinic environment. She also engaged with higher-level advocacy at the United Nations Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA) as a summer student during law school.

Tina is called to the bar in Ontario. She holds a J.D. from Queen's University Law School and a bilingual B.A from York University.
